Returning to the United States , they lived in 16 cities as Paul worked for different hotel companies specializing in opening luxury properties. Paul was hired to open The Rittenhouse Hotel in 1988 which brought him to Philadelphia and he and his wife selected Newtown Square to settle in with their family. In 1992, Paul joined RockResorts as VP Operations overseeing two Caribbean and two Hawaiian properties. Always interested in entrepreneurism, Paul embarked on developing and owning two businesses. Out of this, he launched both of his sons in their successful professional careers. He and his wife moved to their present renovated Mill House on Crum Creek 26 years ago.
Paul became civically involved joining the EAC in 2003 and volunteered with the Special Olympics in 2006. Eventually Paul became Chairman of EAC which led him to introduce the Hanging Basket Program 15 years ago. After he mastered the hardware and growing patterns, the program became a Branding of sorts for Newtown Square. From there he developed a separate committee Newtown Square in Bloom, a 501(c)3 which took care of florals at Welcome Signs, Bus Stops, Hanging Baskets and for a time the center of St Albans Circle.

Newtown Square joined membership with the national organization America in Bloom in 2014. The Judges suggested in 2015 that a renaming occur of the beautification efforts of the committee to Newtown Square in Bloom which we accomplished in 2016.
Besides planting trees every Arbor Day while leading the EAC, in 2022, Newtown Square in Bloom received generous funding from Boiron to plant 24 street trees in open spaces along 252 North & South. Paul went door to door asking landowners permission to locate trees on their property.
