Joanne Holsten

Joanne (Jodi) Holsten is a successful business owner, mother of two sons, and a lifelong Marple resident who is excited to apply her passion for education in order to give back to her community. Jodi owned and operated her own local small business for 30 years, all while raising two sons and remaining active in their education as a member of the parent-teacher council for 15 years. Jodi is a licensed title insurance agent and notary public. Jodi volunteers with the Marple Newtown Democratic Party, serving as a Minority Inspector, and with Free Mom Hugs, an organization that connects LGBTQ+ youth with supportive moms, friends and allies. Jodi hopes to continue serving her community in a way that ensures a quality education for every child in the township.

Jodi enjoys visiting her sons Erik and Kyle in DC and New York City, and spending time with her husband of 38 years, John, and her dog Cosmo.
