DAN WOLF

Candidate for Marple WARD 4 COMMISSIONER

Dan Wolf is the owner and founder of Wolf's Superior Sandwiches in Aston and Havertown. He has been an independent business owner for the last 7 year. Having a long standing career in the Delco Restaurant Scene, he has been serving the people of Delaware County for the last 20 years. He is looking to continue serving the community in a new way, as an elected official.

Graduating from Marple Newtown High School in 2005, he opted for real world experience over academics. He worked his way up to becoming an executive chef by age 22 and oversaw several multi-million dollar operations. Always pushing to better understand the world around him, he began studying economics, government, marketing and business in his free time while continuing to expand his love and knowledge all things hospitality.

Dan is also a well known philanthropist. Each June since his companies inception, he has sponsored and fundraised for the HEADstrong Foundation for the annual Delco Day event. During the pandemic, he implemented the Pay It Forward program, where Wolf's Superior Sandwiches donated and delivered over 2000 pizzas to Delco families and first responders who were struggling all based off community outreach and nomination. No church, charity, little league team or someone who was just a couple bucks short has ever been turned away by him.

As the proud father of two girls, Dan will tout his “Girl Dad” status before you hear him say anything about himself. His devotion to his family knows no limits. His life and career took him to many places, but he wanted his girls to have the benefits he received from his time in Marple, so the Wolf family once again put its roots in Broomall for the next generation.

In business, Dan interacts with the community on a first name, face to face basis. Dan is always accessible to the public, 24/7, all while running his company entirely by himself.

Dan's core values are centered in family, leadership, altruism, balance and adaptability. Community is family. Governing is service. Elected officials need to lead with balance and the understanding of the community they serve, and should always be able to adapt to meet the needs of the day.
